Optimization Modelling And Strengthening Of Teacher ‘S Organizational Commitment Using The Pop Sdm Approach:Research On Teacher’s Private Islamic High School In City Of Bogor
Teachers' organizational commitment is an important element related to the achievement of national education goals and the development of the Indonesian nation as a whole. The initial survey of teacher’s organizational commitment in the Private Islamic High School in the city of Bogor has not achieved maximum results. Therefore, the teacher’s organizational commitment is interesting to study. This study aims to determine efforts to improve teacher’s organizational commitment by examining the positive and dominant variables effect on teacher’s organizational commitment. study uses Optimization Modelling and Strengthening of Management Resources (POP SDM) approach methods and analysis of the SITOREM method is conducted. The unit of research analysis was a Islamic High School Private teachers with a population of 218 and a sample of 142 teachers. Data analysis technique using Path Analysis. The results of the study show there is a positive direct effect the organizational climate on the teacher’s organizational commitment with the strength of the effect βy1= 0.305, there is a positive direct effect servant leadership on the teacher's organizational commitment with the strength of the βy2 = 0.139, there is a positive direct effect self-efficacy on the teacher's organizational commitment with the strength of the βy3 = 0.478, there is a positive direct effect job satisfaction on the teacher's organizational commitment with the strength of the βy4 = 0.243, there is a positive direct effect organizational climate on teacher’s organizational commitment with the strength of βx34 = 0.185, there is a positive direct effect servant leadership on teacher’s organizational commitment with the strength of βx24 = 0.216, there is a positive direct effect self-efficacy on teacher’s organizational commitment with the strength βx34= 0.543. So that the teacher’s organizational commitment can be improved through organizational climate, servant leadership, self-efficacy and job satisfaction
