Peningkatan Komitmen Profesi Guru Melalui Penguatan Pemberdayaan, Kepemimpinan Melayani, dan Trust (Studi Empiris Menggunakan Path Analysis dan SITOREM pada Guru SMK Pusat Keunggulan di Kabupaten Bogor)
Improving the quality of education cannot be separated from the role of teachers in planning and implementing the learning process. Teacher professional’s commitment is very influential on the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. So teacher professional’s commitment in planning and implementing learning has become a demand in seeking to improve the quality of learning and the quality of education. This study aims to find strategy and method to increase teacher professional’s commitmen through strengthening empowerment, servant leadership, and trust, in the Center of Excellence Vocational High School (SMK) teachers in Bogor Regency. This study uses a survey method with a path analysis approach followed by Sitorem analysis. The population in this study were 547 teachers spread across twelve Vocational High Schools (SMK) Center of Excellence in Bogor Regency where the school has implemented one of the independent learning episode programs, namely the Center of Excellence Vocational High School program. The number of samples as many as 164 respondents was determined of proportional random sampling using the Slovin formula.The results of the SITOREM analysis of empowerment, servant leadership, and trust show indicators that need to be improved, namely: 1) Integrity, 2) Willingness to Listen, 3) Show Empathy, 4) Wisdom decision making, 5) Altruistic Calling, 6) Humility, 7) Confidence in the ability and strength of teachers, 8) Caring for teachers, 9) Competency building, 10) Innovative in responding to change, 11) Selfefficacy, 12) Organizational support, and 13)Modeling from individual superiors. While the indicators that need to be maintained are: 1) Readiness to accept work risks, 2) Honesty, 3) Strengthening partnerships, 4) Delegation of authority in the freedom of work, 5) Obligatory attitude towards tasks, 6) Strong affection for the profession and its organization, 7) Willingness to do something for progress, 8) Seriousness in carrying out tasks, 9) Selfless and full of dedication in carrying out their duties, and 10) Individual assessment of the cost of living f leaving work.
